Re-imagining the Future of Space
Idea
The design concept for the Yas Links Golf Club dining room drew on the timeless language of classic clubhouse hospitality — a world of warm wood, rich colour, and quiet refinement. Teal-toned wall panelling with vertical ribbing, dark walnut joinery cabinetry, a fully fitted bar and wine display, and warm ambient lighting combine to create a dining environment that feels both celebratory and intimate. The space was designed to serve equally well as an everyday members' dining room and a venue for formal banquets and events.
Conceptualization and Planning
Design Process
The spatial layout was planned to maximise the dining capacity of the room while maintaining a sense of comfort and flow between tables. The bar and wine display wall — featuring custom-crafted dark wood cabinetry with arched display niches and integrated glass shelving — was positioned as the room's focal anchor, drawing the eye and reinforcing the clubhouse identity. A buffet service counter runs along one wall, designed to allow efficient service during large banquet events without disrupting the room's overall aesthetic. wardrobes to feature joinery elements all manufactured to the exacting specifications set by Majid Al Futtaim's design team and delivered on a rolling programme aligned with the development's construction schedule.

Design Process
Monolith executed the full fit-out scope, including all joinery works — the bar counter, wine display cabinetry, wall panelling, and buffet counter — as well as ceiling works, lighting installation, flooring, and all finishing works. The teal wall treatment, warm gold chandelier lighting, and curated golf landscape artwork were selected and installed to reinforce the venue's sporting heritage and create a sense of place that is unmistakably Yas Links. The result is a clubhouse dining room that reflects the prestige of the Aldar brand and the quality of experience Yas Links is known for.
