Monolith brought the Tajer Palace to life through an extraordinary interior fit-out that honours the grandeur of traditional Arabian architecture while elevating every detail to the highest standard of luxury craftsmanship — a project that stands as one of the most opulent residential commissions in the group's portfolio.
The design vision for Tajer Palace was rooted in the rich heritage of Islamic and Arabian architectural tradition — a language of symmetry, geometry, and ornament elevated to its most spectacular expression. Gilded carved ceilings with deep amber domed centrepieces, monumental crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling arabesque-patterned woodwork panels were conceived to create spaces of genuine palatial scale and presence. Every room was designed to evoke a sense of timeless majesty.
The spatial planning centred on creating a sequence of ceremonial spaces — grand reception halls, formal majlis rooms, and connecting corridors — each with its own distinct character while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout. The coffered dome ceiling, with its intricate gilded relief work and recessed amber lighting, was the centrepiece around which the entire room was composed. Custom-designed geometric lattice doors and illuminated display niches were integrated into the wall panelling to add depth and drama to the space.
Monolith executed the full interior fit-out, including all bespoke joinery, gilded ceiling works, custom lattice doors, wall panelling, and chandelier installation. Every carved and gilded element was custom-crafted to exacting specifications, with master craftsmen working across the full scope of the project to ensure the level of detail and finish befitting a palace of this standing. The result is an interior of extraordinary richness — a space where traditional Arabian craftsmanship and contemporary precision meet in perfect harmony.
