Monolith delivered the complete interior fit-out of ADNOC's offices in Abu Dhabi a high-performance corporate workplace that trades the hard edges of conventional office design for a warmer, more human language of soft curves, honey-toned oak, and a calm neutral palette drawn from the natural tones of the Emirati landscape. The result is an environment that feels as considered and hospitable as it is functional, where focused work, executive privacy, and quiet moments of pause all share a single, cohesive design identity.

Re-imagining the Future of Space
Idea
The concept was built around a single guiding ambition: to create a corporate environment that performs with the warmth and refinement of a premium hospitality space rather than a standard office floor. Monolith answered with a material story led by honey oak appearing as fluted desk fronts and partition screens, full-height back-lit shelving walls, doorsets, and sculpted ceiling soffits set against a soft palette of sand, cream, and taupe. Curved plaster forms, organic furniture, and concealed cove lighting carry through every zone, giving the workplace a sense of calm continuity and a clear, intentional character from the moment of arrival.
Conceptualization and Planning
Design Process
The spatial strategy balanced the demands of a working headquarters with the desire for comfort and flow. Open-plan benching for the wider team is arranged along the glazed perimeter to draw daylight and city views deep into the floorplate, each cluster framed by fluted oak privacy screens that offer separation without enclosure. Around this core, Monolith planned a sequence of private and shared executive offices, formal boardrooms, an intimate majlis-style meeting room, and a series of soft lounge and reception settings, a layout that moves naturally between focus, collaboration, and hospitality. Circular ceiling rafts and layered cove lighting were used throughout to soften the volume and reinforce the architecture's flowing, curvilinear language.
Implementation and Styling
Design Process
In execution, the full-height back-lit oak shelving became the project's signature architectural gesture integrated LED lighting washing each bay to bring out the warmth of the grain and anchor the offices with a library-like richness. In the reception and lounge zones, sculpted microcement walls, arched niches, and a striking bronze rod screen frame a curated arrangement of curved bouclé sofas, biomorphic travertine-and-walnut coffee tables, and wood-framed lounge chairs. The boardrooms carry the same refinement through soft-edged oval tables, grey leather seating, and full-height drapery, rising in the principal meeting room into a dramatic double-height volume punctuated by a sculptural wall sconce. Even the supporting spaces are treated as part of the whole arched, back-lit washrooms with capsule mirrors and fluted vanities, and a warm pantry anchored by a fluted island completing a workplace that feels consistent, intentional, and unmistakably premium from every angle.
